Within each module, you will find a combination of theoretical materials, practical demonstrations, and assessments. You can complete each module at your own pace, moving on to the next one when you feel ready

How is the course assessed?
1.Theory
The theory is completed online and is broken down into modules to ensure it is both accessible and convenient: providing you with the flexibility to learn at your own pace.
You can access the course materials anytime, anywhere, using your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
There are written assessments at the end of every module.
2. Training day(s)
You will be required to attend training days at module 4 of the course. This is essential to apply your theoretical knowledge to hands on service provision.
You will be ‘hands on’ with you tutor there to provide guidance and support.
Working on real clients and along side real horse owners. We ensure you are fully covered via our professional insurance throughout.
3. Practical
Upon successful completion of the theory section and training days, you will then progress to the final practical assessment.
These are held in Scotland or at a chosen location close to the learner at an additional cost.

By purchasing the course, you confirm you are competent and confident handling horses.
By purchasing the course you understand both theory online modules and practical elements of assessment must be successfully completed prior to award of certification.
